As for the removal tool, it's supposed to remove nasty wide-spread
worms if you have any (on the computer), it won't remove things like
spyware which grab your credit card details, as these are mostly
installed willingly with the agreement of the end-user, so Microsoft
risks lawsuits from the companies responsible for the spyware if they
remove it.
What do you mean you didn't agree to the spyware? Don't you *read*
those End User Agreements that pop up when you install the latest
whizz-bang piece of software?
