i have just be given a series 3 landie today
towed it home and looking over it found in a cubby hatch a 12v hydralic

the pump line runs to the rear nearside corner of the body and is terminated
with a screw in plug thingy any ideas on what this pump might be for

Anything you desire ... typically they produced 1750 psi and were used on
winches or hydraulic rams - they could be used to replace the PTO driven
hydaulic pumps that depended upone the engine working, which may not be true
if the front end was submerged (been there, done that)
