Not really as the turning lock / circle of the E-Type was really pathetic .You could turn a bus easier .Saying that , fantastic cars .For years it was the fastest car I had ever driven or worked on .Still great looking today .

I didn't not know about the turning lock issue with these E-Types. I guess that's another reason why they didn't do well in competition.

The earlier ones also had poor , poor brakes .Just what you didn't need with a car of that performance .If I remember correctly it was the first 4.2 automatics that the heat inside was unbearable in the summer .Hard to look cool in a flash car when sweating like a pig .
