Aston Martin chiefs ordered out of bondage gear

Aston Martin, purveyor of fast cars to the rich and famous, has been forced to withdraw controversial merchandise including silver handcuffs and leather underwear after management at Ford - its US parent - complained about the sex and bondage connotations.
The maker of the car famed as James Bond's favourite getaway has ordered designers to come up with a new collection of branded goods amid an internal furore over the tone of its first concerted drive into clothing and accessories.
The controversy erupted after Aston Martin sent catalogues featuring handcuff belts, "perforated leather boxing shorts" and "denim suede boxers" to 3,800 customers.
