Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover Reports A Record April In The Us
Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover North America today reports April sales totaling 6,762 vehicles sold for the organization in the US. Land Rover reports a record April with sales totaling 2,916 vehicles sold. The marque's previous best April was in 2002 when it sold 2,775 units. Range Rover sales totaled 749, up 269 percent from the same period last year. The previous best April for the model was in 1999 when 543 units were sold. Jaguar monthly sales totaled 3,792 cars, down 30 percent from last year.
"Land Rover, and the Range Rover model, continue with record sales," comments Doug Speck, vice president of Retail Operations for Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover North America. "We look forward to continued strong growth this quarter as we prepare to showcase the all-new Jaguar XJ in US retailer showrooms."
The Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover organization sold a total of 26,094 vehicles to date. Jaguar sold 14,649 cars, and Land Rover sales total 11,281 vehicles to date.
