Design dynamo
Henrik Fisker, formerly of BMW and now head of design for Aston Martin and in charge of Ford’s London Ingeni design studio, will move as of June to the Premier Automotive Group’s office in Irvine, California, to oversee all of Ford advanced design. In the new position, Fisker will develop concepts and pre-production models for all PAG brands, as well as Ford, Lincoln, Mercury and Mazda, while maintaining his role as design chief for Aston Martin. His top priority is getting several new models ready for sale by late 2004. Taking Fisker’s place at Ingeni is Lincoln Mercury design director Gerry McGovern.
