Canada: Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover Canada Reports July Sales
Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover Canada announces sales for the month of July, 2003 totaling 362 units, down 14 percent compared with the same period last year. The new XJ sales were 44 units in total with a 120 percent increase compared to the same month last year. Land Rover sales total 130 units for July, down 15 per cent compared with same month last year. The Freelander came out on top, selling 63 units in the month of July.
“Both Jaguar and Land Rover have some exciting products coming out in the coming months for 2004 model year," said Bruce Rosen, Vice President of Marketing for Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover Canada. "We are looking forward to sales momentum building for the second half of the year."
Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover Canada sold 2,205 vehicles year-to-date, down 23 per cent from last year. Jaguar reports a decrease in year-to-date sales of 17 per cent compared with last year, totaling 1,383 units sold. Land Rover's year-to-date sales fell 31 per cent from last year, with 822 vehicles sold.
