Why is it that Y block parts are different for the 239, such as the intake. Is it just a matter of the different heads? Could I put latter heads on the 239? Help would be greatly appreciated.
Something to be aware of when changing heads is that there are different pushrods and rocker arm ratios, the later heads are larger ports as are the manifolds, John Mummerts webpage is a good source of Y block information.
