azfabguy Registered User Join Date: Sep 2009 Posts: 2	292 tranny question i have a 1959 292 and was wondering if the tranny and bell housing from my 1953 cost clipper 6 cyl engine will bolt up and work?

If both transmissions are cast iron FordOMatics, you might be able to swap the main trans, but use your 292 bell housing and torque converter. Spline must match.
