I have a 239 Yblock out of a 55' Ford F100 and would like to run a four barrel on it. Can I run a four barrel manifold from a 272 or 292, would that even work? Is there any way to run a four barrel on this engine? Thanks alot for your help.--Matt

i don't see why you couldn't. i am running one on a 272. the manifolds should work

Hi, my understanding is that the 239 was the first Ford Y-block and nothing was interchangeable with it. But you could trade parts with a 256, 272, 292, and 312.
