Just wondering if anyone out there has made more than 350 HP using the GasReasearch system. Naturally aspirated too.

I just read their website and saw this:
"We have found it almost impossible to achieve 350 BHP+ using a road
registered type exhaust on a naturally aspirated V8 no matter how many CFM’s we use or what type of fuel. We have heard of 500 BHP+ but seeing is believing."

I was looking at using this system, but i was looking at making about 400hp, so i may have to go petrol instead

Ha ha ha, who uses a road legal exhaust? Wake the neighbours thats my motto!

The above quote from gas research is a load of BS. Such a blanket statement with no exceptions is crap. They also state "no matter how many CFM’s we use or what type of fuel" so if you believe what they have written, petrol won't make any difference either.

Just for the record my former mechanics car is making well over 350HP on gas, a NA 460 with a dual research setup making just over 600 FWHP and its 100% street legal!

good point.i forgot that most decent exhaust's probably aren't considered legal.

Looks like i'm gonna go straight LPG then.

yes - a legal exhaust is soooo quiet you wouldnt believe - i was astounded when the RTA tested mine and it was still over the limit, though i can hardly hear it in the car with the windows up...

and the 350hp figure is crap too - mate at works brother has a straight gas 12 second 351 XE, street tyres etc (cant remember MPH) i think you need more than 350hp to do a 12 in a XE...

the more air you can get into an engine the more HP you are going to make, all that air has to go somewhere! no matter what fuel you use
