Just drove my dad's AU2, it was terribly painful. It sh*ts all over my Series 1.
Now to the issues I have with mine.
After being involved in an accident, was put on a computer jig etc but the car doesn't feel "quite" right, at 100 in the freeway it handles like a pig, very unstable
I also now have play in my steering, my father's AU2 had the power steering seals redone after a leak late last year, I drove his car several days later not knowing of the repairs and noticed enough to comment. The effect was amazing, the steering was very precise.
Basically I want to know what I can do to eliminate the play on centre and get back the precision in my steering.
The AU2 auto is much better than mine in regards to shift points, gear selection etc. It's just feels "right" where as mine is fumbling around etc.
After being in an accident, my car revs less smoothly and cleanly and has less power, even running Synergy 8000.
The idle quality on both petrol and gas is pretty hopeless.
Seeing as it's all on insurance etc, I want my car to be as right as it can be. I know a car is never the same after an accident.
Just want to be able to have faith in the reliability of my car and have it feel "right" again.
