BA with LPG badge on Plates

This afternoon I saw a BA XT with LPG tags on it's plates. Apparently it's hard/impossible to do a dual fuel BA so was this a test mule Egas Falcon or???

I'm pretty sure you can get dedicated gas BA's I know a guy thats already ordered one but he hasnt got it yet, maybe it was a test mule apperently ford are trying to get more power out of the gas falcons....

Theres one in Portland at the Ford dealer. Its white and in the demo room with those red LPG triangles where the number plates go.

According tot he Ford site it available early 2003 (dedicated LPG that is). You are probably seeing either mules or pre/eraly production units.

does the LPG sticker only go on if it has duel fuel?? I would imagine it would also go on for dedicated LPG, which is obviously an option...

We have BA E-gas utes in stock already and have for about a month...havent seen sedans or wagons yet though...normally a dedicated vehicle would have 2 tags on the plates to show the twin tanks on board....

Is this in all states? Barely any of the dedicated lpg vehicles i see around have 2 tags. Mayve a very small handful

In Victoria atleast theres 2 tags for dedicated gas and one for duel fuel.

I would be inclined to agree with Aussie_in_NY about it beeing a pre-production model.

Then there must be a lot of non compliant vehicles to this, is it a regulation or a code?
