Can We Please Have An Lpg Forum.

I recon its warranted. The site is fantastic already, I just think this would make it even better.

It would cover all LPG related topics like carbs, convertors, what engines need what gear, lpg turbo, etc,etc,etc

I think it would be really popular if you had it in the section where the general tech stuff, inline 6 tech, turbo, n20 etc is! It would be fantastic.

What does everyone think?

i can see your point, i like the idea.. i run my car on straight LPg.. cheap as chips but one issue i can forsee that it is alittle more dangerous and unpredicable than ULP to most of us.. It is not really an area for us hobby mechanics to go diving into blindly because we read it on the forum.. Tips and tricks are great but someone might over step the line and hurt themselves or their car... It is a 'specialised' and qualified field imo..

I agree to an extent. The information should be treated with extreme caution. Sure lpg is dangerous, but so are many other processes undertaken during the modification of a motor vehicle (ie fuel system, fiddling with fuel pumps, fuel rails etc. it really is not all that different)

And anyway I just want the info so I know what set up is best, and then it can be put on by someone qualified.

I want to hash it out with other lpg afficionados as to which converter is more efficient for which motor, whats the benefit of twin convertors, gas research carbs and most importantly VAPOUR INJECTION and its nuances etc,etc.

I really think an LPG forum would take off. And I would love to get the credit for helping to start it. hahaha

i have a fair bit of experience with LPG on the i6, years of running cabs had to teach me something i guess..

I'm all for it and with the price of ULP and PULP these days it is only becoming more common

Any news on the proposed lpg forum guys? I have all these questions I am waiting to ask.

If you think it most likely not to happen, it would be great if you could let me know so I can ask the questions in the general tech forum.
