Ok all. This being about LPG and no set area I decided to post in the Garage. What I want to know is . Im thinking of getting my hands on a BA dedicated LPG intake and taking away my current stock intake set up and replacing it with that. The intake is heaps bigger than mine with less restriction's. What I want to know is will my current hose running from the convertor that supplys gas to the intake fit the new intake. I would also swap the airbox lid with an EF LID because of the extra 15mm in diamater and connect the BA intake Flex hose to the EF LID. That should free it up a little but I am wanting to know if you guys think its worth the $70 or so.
From what i heve read most of the Petrol guys with Au's have benifited heaps but i have heard nothing about LPG. Im sure the intake would have to be a btter design being from the Dedicated LPG BA.
I want everyones thoughs and knowledge please i really need to know ASAP. Im thinking of getting is set up before heathcote if its going to benifit.
have you got a under bonnet pic of a straight gas BA.. I'm intersted but maybe you'll have to throw in for a new mixer or look at getting the BA one.. The problem i see is that the mixer diameter is the same as your current intakes so if you increase diameter of the piping how do you mount the mixer?
More info would also be good guys. I have not even seen the mixer on my car yet. I might take my itake off where the T/B is and have a look. How often shoudl i check my mixtures anyways.
