HI all,
I have a 96 efII and the factory fitted gas is playing up. When i switch it over from petrol, it just revs up a bit then dies. Like its out of gas. Ive check the gas tank in the back and it read same as the gauge which is at 1/4. Im sure all gos solinoids are working ok, it is hard to test them though, becuse they dont engage unless the motors running and i cant run the motor on lpg cuz of the problem. Ive check these forums, and someone said that in the service they drain the gas converot of oil?? have i got to much oil?? and where the heck does this oil come from anyway?? It still does not run when hot either so its not temp related. It must be a blockage of some sort, I doubt its a leak. There is also a sensor on the main gas inlet pipe to the manifold, could it be this?? okay let me hear those suggestions.

take it in for a professional service, it will be cheaper than you think. Gas is not something you want to play with if you dont know exactly what your doing.

i went up and asked for a LPG service and they said $50, so its fairly cheap.
i'm planning on getting mine done real soon
