is there anything strictly needed to b done to 351 heads to run lpg?

Hardened seats and bronze guides. Thing is though the clevo heads seem to last on gas without it anyway. It's cheaper to sort the heads if and when the valves recess.

The standard seats on my heads were stuffed after 18 months of straight gas use even with upper cyclinder lube. I would say its a must.

thanks brenx this is what i wanted to hear
the other guy with the problems in 18 months is a bit of a worry
thing is here in england u got comapnyshappy to tae your money when its not neded its a never ending argument here with certain engines especially when u consider theres 30 year old for lifts running lpg on 1600 x flows and still have no probs
ok there not thrashed but 30 years????

I must admit it did alot of k's in those 18 months... but still, I would have thought the upper cyclinder lube would have done more.

hmm know what yer sayin m8 il just have to keep an ear on it when i convert it, thing is it came from oz so maybe its allready done
