LPG Conversion

What is a reasonable price to pay In Sydney to have an EA 6 cyl 3.9L converted to dual petrol / LPG?

What are the pro & cons?

I drive it on weekends over about 400kms, so how much could I expect to save over petrol per week?

Why am I asking all these questions?

not sure on what it costs to convert these days.
but i get about 400-450km's on a tank of LPG with mixed types of driving, just over 500km's if its freeway.
costs about $20-$25 to fill it up, so it is a hell of a lot cheaper then petrol.

this only me , but lpg gose up and down in price so much its a joke.

i went to gas in a ute in 98/99 and lpg was 26 per litre and with in
a couple of months it moved up to 55 near 60 , nearly cryed.

lpg cars need aspecialest to sus then out all the time as any minor probles will turn in to monsters , depending on the motor man you use.
They need regular maintenance all the time , twice as much as petrol.

And truly now days theres that many lpg gas cars around that you would more than likly pick one up cheaper than a conversion , and thats not just very used taxis iether.

Price around is all you can do , This is just me but Lpg is great for buliders . buses ,taxis and other people who earn aliving out of ther car , and can write of the in tax ,, but for jo blow, it ait worth it .

Noted it ait the most silly thing you could do , but it is handy to have that extra tank to double you distance on long trips.
