Anyone know of a reputable company that does conversions on older ford (81 LTD 351c) thats in sydeny(further out west the better :o)


There are a few but i want to make sure i go somewhere thats not going to **** it up.

I don't know, but make sure they use decent parts in the fittlings.
The dead-shits that installed the one in mine used plastic T pieces to tap into the heater water. A plastic T piece clamped by steel hose clamps. Well the plastic broke, (luckily for them after a couple of years), and caused loss of coolant and stranded me out in the sticks. A plastic T piece cost 15c, a brass one cost about $12. Just make sure they use top quality fittings.

Yep, I recomend Barrie from Barries Dyno in Perth....well it is about as far west as you can get.

If your looking for gas in Sydney I had my XR6 fixed at Riverstone Gas in (where Else) Riverstone, They fixed a totaly screwed up job done by Gas Power in newcastle.

As well as when I got the new 220 xr8 Riverstone gas did a conversion on that as well and so far I couldn't be happier
V8 gonads (albeit a little down on power from straight Petrol)
and traveling about 350k's on about $19 buicks worth of gas
rapt....
