My car's had LPG installed since it was purchased, 130,000km's and its still running real well.
no hassles, LPG is under the 30c mark here, with petrol around 80.
on my EF (4spd) i get about 400km's to a tank in city driving, and about 550km's in highway driving.

My car's had LPG installed at the factory by Tickford, 118,000km's and its still running real well. LPG is under the 30c mark here. On my EF (4spd) i get about 430km's to a tank in city driving, and about 610km's in highway driving.Runs really well on LPG. Have more problems with that liquid that they try to sell as PETROL

We had straight gas installed at 102,000km 10 years ago. The engine's running pretty good now for a car with around 350,000 and hasn't had any major mechanical dramas while on gas.
It's leaking like buggery now so we're planning on just buying a second hand engine and throwing that in.
got gas for $17 for a full tank today and it will get me 350-420kms wheras petrol would cost $50 a tank and get me 400-470 so u decided hope it was a help
conversion will cost you about $1300 upwards depending on system. The Parnell web site has a fuel calculator thet you can use to work out how long it will take to get your money back in savings.I think gas is great but you have to work out whether it is worth it for you
