I've never seen an LPG injection system functioning, let alone on an I6. Their idea looks good, i'd be keen to see it take off as it will mean the end of my running lean issues.

Liquid LPG injection still remains a pipe dream. I wouldn't expect to see mass installation of the product for years yet.

Not as far off as most might think. Liquid injection of LPG would be possible using the direct injection technology of current diesel engines. Pressure could be maintained right up to the point of injection, after that it would spread within the compressing cylinder. Still a way off, but not as impossible as thought

it would be a cool chrage to gas to since the gas would still be at liquid stage.. big power id think

There is an EF XR6 in canberra that is LPG injected - with no other mods other than the injection, it makes close to 150rwkw.

A system for an AU1 XR8 is about $3000, conmpared to around $2100 for a standard LPG/dual fuel setup. The difference is basically the cost of the special injectors, so I reckon for an I6, it would be around $2500 - 2800.

there is a gas injected xr6 taxi in canberra... the owner reckons that it goes better than his petrol xr6 that is not a taxi... better power all through the rev range...they had a little trouble to start with as the company that put in in only had done a standard falcon... all they did was reprogram the ECU and now fine, even after 700,000kms... still goes well
