I have recently converted my car from a CFI intake manifold to MPFI. I used a gas ring from another car fitted with LPG and hooked up the gas to this. My problem is a lack of power below about 2500RPM. Above this power seems fine. Anyone got any tips or hints on this, or know a good place in Melbourne to get it tuned/checked out?
I have a cfi and I have much the same problem, and it is to the point where a push bike could beat me to about 30kmh, I think it is a single wire or a vac hose, but I just can't put a finger on it at the momment.
i have had a play with that and havent had any results. if i lean it out high rev performance suffers. doesnt make a difference to performance under 2500rpm. what actually controls the gas system switching from idle mode to cruise mode? is it vacum controlled? must be something like that...
