I am running my TE 250-xflow Cortina on straight gas (LPG) and was wondering how hard it would be to add nitrous. I have a cheap NOS system avaliable to suit an NA 6cyl. The problems I can see are adding more LPG to the air/fuel mix and keeping combustion temperatures down (gas burns hotter than petrol).
Has anyone done this, or knows how this is done?
Any help would be great..

maybe run a seperate petrol tank and fuel nozzle for when the n2o is activated.

id possably make a small petty tank in the engine bay with an intank pump. Add in a large injector (mabey from CFI 3.9) and fire it from the N2O relay.

Lpg and petrol can't be mixed, they have different ignition temperatures, combustability, octane ratings etc. My car is dedicated LPG (will be getting the dizzy remapped soon) and I don't want to run petrol at all. LPG has an octane of 102 so properly tuned, I will get more power from LPG than petrol, plus it's cheaper. I think a petrol tank under the bonnet would be too unsafe. (not much room in a Cortina as well, especially after the twin turbos go in...)

In order to use gas and nos, you need to use liquid gas injection for it to work properly, if you put nos in with gas vapour it doesn't mix together properly, but if you inject them as a liquid they do.

Gas injection seems to be a myth. I've heard plenty of 'talk' about it but never seen a car running it.
