my cars currently dual fuel and am seriously considering heading to Gas Research PC in Frankston/Dandenong to look at a straight LPG setup on my EF.
Any one have any ideas, concerns or the likes as to what could be done.
i'd like to actually get some decent performance out of my car but still wanna keep it cheap to run.

I prefer straight LPG on all my cars. Setup properly gas can make just as much power as unleaded but heaps cheaper. Gas reasearch are the best, i would suggest them above all others (if you can afford it!).
You'll be wanting a new cam ground for straight LPG and for a 6cyl I suggest wade cams. Also having the head shaved to get compression up to around 10.5:1 is cheap mod and will be fine with LPG.
With a good exhaust and a mod chip you'll find the engine should run hard. Even if it does consume more gas, its still half the price of unleaded!
as people have said - straight LPG set up properly will make just as much power as on petrol, but the bonuses with LPG are many:
it costs less to boost it - LPG is really cold, so your intercooling requirements are less.
it has a higher octane rating than petrol, so you can run a few more pounds boost then you otherwise would with a given setup.
once you get the mixers tuned right you only need a chiptorque chip or something - it only has to control spark, and thats very easy to do (in comparison to tuning air/fuel and spark) so less time on the dyno and more time frying tyres - thats gotta be good :D
and the LPG tanks are heavier, so more traction for launches tee hee hee...
and i also runs a lot cleaner - 99% of turbo cars out there with any non-factory mods wouldnt pass an epa test - lpg does
