Re: First Drive: 2007 Ford Edge

I recently had my car in the shop and was able to rent a new Edge, when my Focus was not ready. It was a pleasure to drive. I am rethinking American as of now. A brawnier stance and Bold lines get 2nd looks. It went after the Murano and came out very close. I get my auto reviews at New Car Prices Buying Advice | New Car Dealer Invoice | Auto Buying Tips.

Take a look at this customized Edge Big Brother- The Lincoln MKX!

Re: First Drive: 2007 Ford Edge

I absolutely love my Edge. Mine is equipped exactly like the Edge Ford always uses in the ads.

I haven't done a lot of mods, but I did change most of the dim green control lighting to bright blue by replacing almost all of the LEDs.

Here's the center stack, after I replaced all of the 0805-sized LEDs in the nav head unit, and the PLCC-2-sized LEDs in the stack controls:

Re: First Drive: 2007 Ford Edge

thanks for the review. I have been looking at maybe getting this car, maybe next year. I think the design is interesting, but wasnt sure if it was roomy for all my stuff.

Ill may have to go to a dealer for a test drive.
