Indoor vent stinks like roadkill - Ford Forums

When only on "vent" I get the most awfull smell from my vent. Does OK with heat/AC but is terrible when used with vent only.

Id' take it right to the dealer and tell them to fix it. Make up a story that you get nauseated and that it's a health issue and they should get right on it as it's covered under warranty. I can't imagine what would cause the smell other than something not installed properly at the factory or something is slowly burning?

I've seen some cars have mold get into the A/C system... and it's not impossible for the smell to actually be roadkill (or rather, a dead rodent - had that happen to my wife's Nissan SUV once).
