after purchasing a 07 edge i realized the sticker doesnt match the vehicle.is there any way to use the vin to find the original sticker listing all the standard and optional equipment that came with vehicle when it was new

You can take the VIN to a Ford dealer and they can let you know some of the equipment. Also, on the door jam, it gives codes for the power train and chassis. Take a photo of it to them and they should be able to helpyou.

I emailed Chrysler the VIN of my Dodge to get the sticker, and they sent me an email two weeks later with everything, including standard equipment on all models plus options, available options, and vehicle weights.
