Mercury Guy Registered User Join Date: Aug 2007 Location: Upstate, New York Posts: 1	Re: advice needed Hi, I'm thinking you'll have to remove the solenoid to get the bolt in. you may not have to remove the wires, but the solenoid looks like its in the way. You may want to disconnect the positive cable from the battery to avoid shorting the system.
