joe68 Registered User Join Date: Aug 2007 Location: Middlesex. Posts: 1	Timing belt replacement? Ford escort 1.8 Diesel There seems to be some sort of a tapping noise (almost like a bass on radio) coming from my engine. I checked it out and the noise seems to be most predominant where the timing belt is located. Any suggestions? Also, if it is the timing belt what sort of a price range am I looking at? Thanks in advance.
