Headlight Switch for 1976 Mercury Capri?

the headlight switch on my 76 capri went out so my headlights dont work. so ive tried practically everywhere on trying to find a replacement switch. right now im using a switch that i pulled off a ford taurus in the junkyard but its not the same as having the original part. i was lucky to find a 77 capri at a junk yard about an hour away from where i live. it happened to be that the whole instrument panel was already removed by someone else including the switch. ive tried ebay and have only seen the wiper switch which looks very similar but works differently (obviously). a friend told me about this company called "LQK" that junks many late model vehicles and parts them out but no luck on a 76 capri in their nearby junkyards. any ideas or know of any 72-77 capri lieing around your neighborhood? =P help is greatly appreciated.

THANKS
