What Ford model is this? (photograph)

This a picture by the photographer Kirill Kuletski:

Nobody seems to recognize this Ford model. One could say it looks like a Pontiac GTO, but when taking a closer look to the boot, it seems to have the four letters of "Ford" on it.

Does anyone know what model this could be?

The Galaxie is usually a 2 door or 4 door hard top.

1965 Ford Fairlane, 66 had more of a slop along the back roof line and the taillights were a little different.

Ever notice that there's so many high performance parts available for GM products?

Did you ever think that maybe they NEED them?

The black one looks a little nicer than the example I found, though.
