Faimont Ghia Troubles

hi iam looking for some advice.
i have AU1 faimont ghia dual fuel tickford vct6 and have snapped guide for timing belt and of course bent valves etc because of this.
what are best options repair or reco motor
i like the car and ride but do not want to go crazy
its very economical on gas does the motor have any special mods for gas?

Best bet would to whip head off and see what damage done and assess from there whether it's worth repairing or not depending also on year , general condition of car etc .

most times just remove the head get it repaired and new chain giudes and gears.Also check the oil pump drive shaft they can wear a bit.to check that just grab the gear on it and see if there is any side ways movement.
There is no mods made to the head for gas on these
