hey guys did a search couldnt find much i got my self a carby for courier ute (carby) and i have a friend sellign a worked fe 2.0 turbo same motor as origannly in the ute but the tx5 is a fwd are these the exact same blocks ie would i be able to jsut drop ion the tx5 turbo motor providing i change engine mounts sump.

the realy hard part im guessing is the gearbox would it be possible to just bolt up the rwd clutch setup ie fly p/plate and stuff to the tx5 is it as bassic as i am hoping can any1 shed some light onto this for me as i can get the motor cheap could u please pm me or email me on holdenboy111@iinet.net.au

i know someone who did exactly that engine conversion into a MK2 Cortina & didn't find it particularly hard so a Courier should be a snack as like you said the sump and gearbox are already in the car.
