In our Ford Escape Review
, we loved its eye-opening styling as well as its great handling. “The drive itself is excellent, as we’d expect from a crossover based on the fun Focus,” said AutoGuide.com Editor-in-Chief Colum Wood. He added “It’s more enjoyable than it needs to be (always a bonus), reacting fast with a direct electric power steering system.”
The Escape is all new this year, with a platform based on the Ford Focus compact car. It’s available with three engine choices, including a powerful, yet fuel-friendly 2.0L EcoBoost which makes 240 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. The Escape is also affordable, with prices starting at $25,895 and ranging all the way up to the top-trim Titanium which costs $31,195.
