So I just recently bought a 88' LTD Crown Victoria, it had overheating issues and I didn't think much of it. Got the water pump off and noticed the passages into the block where totally blocked. Looks like the coolant turned to wax inside the block, I have never seen this before. I am thinking at this point I have to pull the motor and to a total rebuild to unblock the water paths, and at the same time inspect the block and heads for cracks. The car ran great it just overheated and now I see why. I am wounding if there is a easier way to go about this and get the car back on the road?
