It won't be the end. DVD OR Blu-Ray or some other format will be around for years to come. With data caps, Netflix and now TV over internet, I don't see how the internet as we know it can handle it, or better yet, your ISP won't allow you to do it. Maybe if we all internet via fiber optics it would work.
