How to remove it, info supplied by Bert.

From the shop manual.

1. Remove the fuel tank filler cap.
2. Remove the filler pipe upper retaining bolt.
3. Raise and support the vehicle.
4. Remove the right hand rear fender wheel house liner.
5. Remove the fuel tank.
6. Partially lower the rear suspension crossmember.
7. Disconnect the vapor tube from the filler pipe.
Cut the four cable ties. Detach the tube from the two clips. Disconnect the vapor tube.
8. Remove the filler pipe lower retaining bolt.
9. Remove the filler pipe center retaining bolt.
10. Remove the filler pipe.
Installation
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
