How-to: Shifter base replacment.

Hello.

My base shifter plate has cracked, and is completely severed in x3 locations. I have successfully disassembled it from the vehicle.
What I'd like to know is: How do you disassemble the actual rod, and springs from the tower? And how would you install it to a new tower?

Thanks! I haven't a clue. There doesn't appear to be any screws.
Although there is some plastic piece over a ball and socket joint (on the right side).. There's no way to access it.

Re: [Ford Focus ZX3] Disassembling the base shifter tower ('base shifter plate')

Sadly, I am unable to edit the title of my thread to pre-append "[SOLVED]," however: I can still post a reply (like this):

The problem is solved. I have successfully changed it. I still can not find any information on it, on Google/other vehicle forums.

Here is my contribution to the internet in regards to this information (since it is not freely out there yet)!
These are very short (~2 minute long) "How to" tutorials I created an hour or two ago.

Thanks to everyone on this forum who have always provided their help, free of charge. :)
