Re: Audi R8 PD GT850

You're right, it is a nice machine. But I've noticed a trend that I couldn't haven't been able to put my finger on until now. Auto's are becoming more and more "clinical". It's almost like the manufacturer is trying to hide the engine which is the heart of the performance.

Just something I've noticed.

Ever notice that there's so many high performance parts available for GM products?

Did you ever think that maybe they NEED them?

Not the first time I've cursed " I which the b******s that designed these cars had to work on them !" as I've struggled to remove a unit or part .

Re: Audi R8 PD GT850

Not only does it make it a pain in the butt to work on, but it hides the engine. I like seeing the engine. I understand the extra's to neaten up the wires and vacuum lines, but why hide the whole thing? The hood all ready does that, they don't need a secondary enclosure.
