Re: Ford Ranger 2010 Transmission Problem

The sensor is nothing more than a switch. If it isn't in the correct position when the power control module expects it to be, it will throw the code. If the cable has stretched or the switch is worn, you can still manually make it work, but when the truck is actually in park, the switch will not be in it's proper position. If the switch and cable are good, then you probably have a problem in the wiring.

Ever notice that there's so many high performance parts available for GM products?

Did you ever think that maybe they NEED them?

Re: Ford Ranger 2010 Transmission Problem

Thank you for reply. Our foreman got fix that problem, just exchange new auto filter and oil pan gasket, and add more 1L ATF(total 5L).
After that slow shift is gone.
