FG GTE prototype

I'm looking at buying a FG GT-E, the seller claims its a prototype, build number GTE P010, the car is a 2010 build, and has the 335kw 5.0L with six speed auto.

Anyone shed some info on fords prototype FG GT's, the seller couldn't give me anymore info, thanks.

Re: FG GTE prototype

I can't shed any light on it being a prototype and I doubt they will sell a prototype to the public but they never built many GTE's so they are more of a rare beast. Nice car.

Re: FG GTE prototype

FPV Cars with a ""P"" is a ford press or preproduction car.

In NZ Ford, they were the demo cars and used on ford track days.

There are well maintained and serviced prior to being on sold to private owners.

Generally they may come with a bigger boot wing and sold a bit cheaper than another car with the same kms and year on the market.

Cheers
