Jabba's new 19's

Well after 12 months of procrastinating and not being able to make a decision on what I like and don't like, the day has finally came and I have got my new wheels. There a ROH Modena 19x8.5 with 245/35 on the front, 19x10 with 295/30 on the rear. IMO they look Phat and Fat. Some how I don't think I am going to have a lack of traction any more. So hopefully I will now be able to move this barge arse ute of the line a lot quicker and get the 60ft under 2 seconds

Not usually a fan of that sort of thing, but they look bloody nice mate. Thought about painting/ anodising the calipers to draw attention to them?

So apart from looks, what do lager diameter wheels actually achieve in the real world?

BA XR8. Blood Orange, auto (unfortunately), premium sound, Cat-back stainless Quad exhaust, K&N Filter, front grille kit, Poly-Air rear springs @ 10psi, SS Cold Air Intake.
222.0 RWKWs.
VTR1000F Bike (0-100 in 2.5 seconds)
XH ute. 5 speed, dual fuel.

I am not keen on painting calipers a colour to stand out exspecialy when the rotors are not that big. I do however have plans for a larger AP, Brembo's or Alcon brakes.

As for what larger Diameter rims do in the real world, the answer to that is, Sweet bugger all. They just look good. In the way of handling, I can not feel much difference from my 17's. But I will say the rear end grip coming out of corners is unbelievable awesome, So far I have not been able to step the back of the ute out, exiting a corner. Now don't confuse what I have said about 19's V 17's. The difference is the the width and quality of the rubber on the rear end....
