I have just bitten the bullet and bought one of the last manual

Bulldog what was the build date?

Julian what was your build number?

I posted a question under T3 Build Number - RussellW responded and pointed to the FPV Website indicating that there were 334 total planned to be built.

The FPV site in the news archive has an article on the last T3 one built, which from memory was September 19, a Blueprint TS50.

I think it will be valuable information to know how many T3 - TE's & TS's were built, as I believe they will be fairly collectable cars in decades to come (not years).

Build date is July 02, as for total numbers built below is what I received from FPV. Hope this helps.

Model Auto Man Total
TE50 90 114 204
TS50 152 72 224
TL50 3 0 3

Is that total T-series, or total T3? If it's only T3, then they didn't do too badly - a run of 400 odd cars that has spawned a fairly large look-a-like market!

That's T3 numbers.

BA GT-p: driven quietly to a place of worship each Sunday - exactly as intended by the manufacturer.

cool

Thanks Bulldog!

Exactly what I was looking for.

Still don't understand the actual build numbering though.

It will not take long to pass those sorts of numbers with GT's/GTP's.

Cheers

bulldog congrats on ur purchase of TE50
I too have recently bought one. The info from FPV seems to me,
to be incorrect, as the build number on mine is 213.
so i wonder who would know the correct info, I to would like to know how many TE50 T3's manuals/autos were made.

Who was the idiot who said make so many Auto's ? What a waste, I mean really, what is the Fecking point. Its not like the Ford Auto is something so advanced you can kind of get away with it.

Isn't it just a 4-Speed ? Why not just bring back the 2-speed column drive.

Column drive? That's a new one. Is that equivalent to shaft drive on a bike?

Autos are made for lazy people like me!

I drove an auto TE50, before i bough my manual TS50, it was a 5 speed Auto, dont know what box it was, but in the manual shift mode, with the buttons on the steering wheel, you could change to gear 5, had to be doing fater than 90 km/ph from memory. Wasnt to bad actually, being able to use it like a manual as well as an auto. Still I preferrred the manual.
