Oh please, listen to the note objectively and you will notice that the multi cam Boss being more refined in the valve operation process lacks that throb of a V8 it's there sort of but not to the extent of the old fashioned V8 it's just a fact of life the two engines will never sound close and it wiill be personal preference that determines what sounds better. really the two cars shouldn't be compared they are worlds apart and their design is totally different both should be given respect for what they are in their own right. As for affording a BA please, now that I have stopped laughing, any monkey can fill out a finance application even Au drivers and they give it just about anyone on a reasonable wage and my mate at a dealer said he cant remember the last BA he sold where the purchaser paid cash.

I hear what you are saying, i honestly don't think either sound that crash hot when compared to a Cleveland, but that's only my opinion.

Re: OMG, GT stripes appearing on AUs

I dont have stripes on my F6. My brother had a BA XR8 with 2.5" twins (even tried a single 3", different mufflers etc) and I didn't really go much on it, compared to my AU XR8 single 3" . The Boss does sound alright when you really give it to them, but idling and lower range revs left me wondering. Maybe it's just me? The BA really isn't all that you know.

Unless you are looking at dyno graphs, then it's the other way round.

Re: OMG, GT stripes appearing on AUs

one thing id like to say is..when u have a particular model car then do it up with the things that were out when the car was around and thats what makes it stand out from the rest of your model cars, but this idea of AU"S, EL"S etc... with stripes is an awefull thought...i must say the ba bonet works a fair treat for the cosmetics of teh AU bloody looks amazing :)
