5.0 valve seals
My block block is out of a 91 Mustang, Not sure of the heads, probably just standard 91, wouldn't surprise me if they were GT 40's, though (have to check). First, I saw 2 methods for changing the seals without pulling the heads, one with air, and another where you shove nylon rope in the spark plug hole. Not really trusting the rope trick, but was wondering if anyone else used one of these two methods? Should I just say the hell with it and pull the heads?
Second, I'm 99% sure they're single spring, any recommendation for seals? I've seen several brands with slightly different dimensions for this application.
Ever notice that there's so many high performance parts available for GM products?
Did you ever think that maybe they NEED them?
