all this happened to the guy i bought the car off, he said it was fixed, but it was only a temp fix. it was fine when i bought the car but the damage was done and it did not become evident until 2 months after i bought the car. while herrod made the initial mistake the guy i bougt the car off also doged me.

buy the way anyone know the cost of that 8 throttle body deal from herrod, would love one of those

too all the people out there who do a dodgie on other people i dont know how you can sleep at night and remember what comes around goes around.

Cheers

Getting back to the original thread,

My AUII XR8 220, manual, with 45000ks at the time, with no mods except for removal of the resonator, opening up the air intake and painting bits and pieces, at Herrods at the beginning of the year got 165rwKW, Rob Herrod even stated it was a sweet car.

Since then I have put a K&N filter in, had a Herrods 2.5 exhaust from cats back, it was then dynoed last week pre Unichip and got 177, it was then Unichipped and it ran 192rwkw, wihich I am happy about, but am waiting to get to Herrods again to confirm.

that does sound like a sweet ride, i am inpressed with the power you are getting out of the 5L. did you put a cam in it?? what is your fuel economy like now?? any head work done, although the GT 40's are pretty good heads.

Cheers

I have not touched the engine, except for a Herrods Ceramic Intake.

I opened up the intake back to where the rubber seal of the bonnet comes across the intake. I also made up a splitter plate to direct more air into the intake

You can see the difference in this photo.

Mr Sparkle, what heads were you currently running there? GT40P's? ported E7's?
