Forget the chips......as we all know the biggest problem with the E series V8s
especially are the E7 heads, you would be lucky to pull 150rwkw,
and this wouldnt be much better then a 14.8 down the quarter.
The chips will not bring the performance where all after....at the most it will
give our cars better throttle response, be a lot smoother but wont add up to
much at the drags and lets face it, the chips arnt going to do what
LS1edit has done for the commodore boyz. We just dont have a good
starting base to work with.
What we should be asking is how EL1XR8 managed a pass of 13.95 and
Ignitions with a 14.83, obviously they have extra mods then the rest of us
but it doesnt add up, otherwise will all be running similar times. You guys care
to shed some more light on the topic!
