Digital speedometer/odometer dim

My digital speedometer/odometer on my 2007 GM is so dim in the daytime that I can hardly read it even on a cloudy day. It does get brighter when the lights are off but not bright enough. Any ideas?

Re: Digital speedometer/odometer dim

Its a broken solder joint, its pretty common on the panther cars. You will have to pull the cluster to fix it though.

Re: Digital speedometer/odometer dim

That sounds like a possibility. I'll have to check it out when I get time. THANKS!
