Re: Turbochargeing MX6 ???

I had a simple low-boost turbo system installed on my 93 Probe GT - made great power (~250whp/250ft-lbs), excellent throttle response (spooled very fast, low boost threshhold)... Was a fun car.

Re: Turbochargeing MX6 ???

AHHH the owner of the car couldn't keep his f*rking finger's off E boost and it threw a rod at 15Lp boost and 8000 rpm...
Academic people for ya!!!
The Eunos injectors are 330cc..But its cheaper to use common injectors and make some custom fuel rails...

New engine[actually the original one] is being built with C.P pistons .080 over bore [8.5 comp], H beam rods, deck block protector that fits around bores where head bolts on to valley.Holds sleeves/ bore from moving in high rpm/ power loads as done on austrack motor..Truftrided crank and flywheel..
Ohh and some 700cc injectors and custom fuel rail...

Don't be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the Ark...Professionals built the Titanic!
.
Tuned & maintained by "Peppertree Perfmormance". Dart block, Scat 4340 steel crank, Custom C.P pistons.Oliver rods.. Mal Wood twin plate clutch.. Twin SC61/2's,482 rwkw/ 645 rwhp..
Passengers, myocardial infarction material..
R.I.P Possum...

Thumbs down Re: Turbochargeing MX6 ???

Another pic..Click on pic to enlarge..

If you think the rod on the left looks like a Eagle H beam for a Windsor
you'd be right...It's 5.4" rod....Alittle stronger ....It's going in new engine built with custom turbo "C.P" pistons .060 oversize..
