2017 expedition xlt rear camera

Hi all,
My rear camera seems cloudy due to condensation. It usually cleared up within a day or 2 of rain/moist days, but since this winter it’s not cleared. I know I’m under warrantee, but been on the road a lot and usually only free time has been on weekends. So I figure I’ll diagnose before doing that.
And yes I’ve cleaned the external part of lens with no improvement.
2 questions

1) what is entailed in removing the camera? From inside? Or by removing exterior trim? Or does it just come out externally w/o removing any panels?
2) is it a sealed unit? I’ll be looking for a crack or seal that is not correctly installed.

Thanks in advance

Re: 2017 expedition xlt rear camera

Seems to be a common fault on various models and if cleaning doesn't fix it , usually the camera has gone bad and needing replaced .Better not doing anything other than wiping as may invalidate warranty if you start removing camera.

Never, never, never give up.
